Home Health Aids
Personal care and private duty home health aides with 24/7 access to an RN case manager. Our PCAs (personal care aids) are screened and trained to provide care that is of the highest quality in the industry. Help with medications, activities of daily living, meal preparation, cleaning, pet care, errands and companionship. Fees start at $16 per hour depending on services provided and travel distance.
Nurse Concierge & Respite Care
A licensed RN can provide daily or weekly visits on a regular or temporary basis. We offer services such as health and wellness checks, respite care, medication assistance, consult with providers during medical appointments, etc. Shelter in Place maintain an environment of strict confidentiality and can customize your care to meet your needs. Fees start at $36 per hour depending on services provided and travel distance.
Harmar® Stairlifts and Vertical Chair Lifts
Harmar, a leading manufacturer of stairlifts and vertical platform lifts (quality products with exceptional customer service and warranty) is our preferred supplier for stair lifts. They come in a variety of models that start at around $3700 installed.
According to the CDC more than 35 million older adults fall each year often resulting in injury or death. In 2021 more than 2.5 million older adults were treated for fall related injuries many due to a fall that involved attempting to manipulate a stairway.
Lifts are a great way to reduce the risk of falling and injury and often can be the key to preventing fractures, long term care placement, immobility or death.
Harmar® Temporary Aluminum or Traditional Wooden Ramps
Costs and installation are determined by height and length. Price is determined by building codes and ADA requirements which currently require a 1:12” maximum slope. We also install traditional wooden ramps.
Bathroom Remodels and Walk in Shower Installations
Shelter in Place can assist with just about any type of bathroom modification such as walk-in shower conversions, walk-in tubs, ADA compliant sinks, toilets, and grab bars. Use our RNs for customized planning while using your own contractor or let us customize and complete the entire project for you. Our trades are fully vetted, insured, and bonded.
