Shelter in Place has been assisting the growing population of seniors who desire to age safely in place since 2009.​

Our driving passion is to prevent nursing home placement. Costs for long term residential care in the US are staggering, often greater than $10,000 per month. Shelter in Place offers nursing services such as home health aides; respite and RN concierge services, walk in shower modifications, stairlifts, and many other environmental modifications. Our medical staff and professional licensed installers are bonded, insured, and must pass drug and criminal background checks. Currently serving Central Virginia.
